She was known for her service to the community. Beatrice also loved to laugh – a lot. She was always appreciative of a good deed and she never underestimated the power of a kind word. She was known for being a brave and resilient woman, besides being kind. Beatrice had also learnt to listen, and she loved people.

Her death, which occurred on January 28, 2019 at Kenyatta National Hospital, leaves a great void in the lives of those she touched. Beatrice was the wife to Henry Nyabuto Begi and mother to Thuophine Nyabate, Diana Barongo, Annastancia Asisa, Emmanuel Keberi and Elvis Ongeri.
