James Moreka: A loving and caring father and husband

From your loving wife Esther: My best friend, the best dad to our four children, and now the best granddad. Although you are asleep in heaven, you are not that far away. My heart is full of memories and you are with me every day. You lived your life with meaning and with a smile upon your face.

A world that was full of happiness is now an empty place. People say only time will heal a broken heart. I know you are at peace now and in a place where you are free till we meet at the pearly gates when heaven calls for me. Rest with the angels, my dear husband.

From your children Grace, Laura, Eric and Daisy: Those special memories of you will always bring a smile. If only we could have you back for just a little while, then we could sit and talk again just like we used to. You mean a lot to us. The fact that you are no longer here will cause us pain, but you are forever in our hearts until we meet again. Rest in eternal peace, papa.

From your sibling: My brother James lost his life far too soon. He had a lot left to accomplish and it’s sad he isn’t here with us. However, we should not focus on the grave but instead celebrate his life. My brother was a wonderful man, a mentor whom we relied on for all important matters concerning family. You have left a gap that cannot be filled. You may be gone, but your memory will live on in us forever.

From in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends: It is difficult to accept that you have departed from us to join God's glory. You left a gap that no one can fill. This separation is painful and heartbreaking, but we are grateful for the short life that we lived together full of love and laughter. Your memories will always linger in our hearts. Until we meet again, rest in peace.
