Le Captain as his friends fondly referred to him was a great influence on music and a very humane person. Up until his death he was the group treasurer of Kalamu Nyekundu. Kalamu Nyekundu Group (friends of Igwe Bandason) is shattered by the sad news of Brian Omondi Oloo Magunga’s demise. The 4th born in the family of six, he was the son of Elias Okello Japunde and Mama Risper Okello. He was grandson to both Senior Chief Opondo Ragama and Mama Susan Ragama of Uholo North Ugunja Sub county and Imende Oloo Rang'inya of Alego Kaluo Got Oyenga. His brothers were Sammy Oloo, Mark Oloo, David Oloo and sister Florence Oloo. He was a nephew to Bonface Ocholla, who will miss his charm wit and charisma. He is survived by his lovely wives Seline Oloo and Esther Oloo, his daughters Vera and Risper. Brian was also the father to the late Joshua Denzel Junior. The body will leave Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital on October 1st for burial on the 2nd of October 2021 in Aboke North Ugenya, Uyundo Sub-Location, Siaya County.
