Tribute

Grief is like the ocean; it comes in waves ebbing and 
fl owing. Sometimes the water is calm, and sometimes it 
is overwhelming. All we can do is learn to swim. Those 
we love and lose are always connected by heartstrings 
into infi nity. Unable are the loved to die, for love is 
immortality. You don’t go around grieving all the time, 
but the grief is still there and always will be. There are 
no goodbyes for us. Wherever you are, you will always 
be in my heart. 
Mama Callen Nyamoita Ondiki passed away at the 
Nakuru level 5 hospital on October 26, 2022. She was 
the wife to the late James Nyakundi Ondieki and mother 
to Jairus, Naomi, Samuel, Linet, Robert, Mary, Sellina and 
Ondieki. 
She was laid to rest on November 8, 2022 at her home 
in Nyambosero Village, Kegogi Sub-Location, Marani 
Sub-County.
