Kennedy Gikonyo Karanja was an ambitious and self-driven young man who, from an early age, always aspired to greatness. His visions inspired many people, especially the youth in Kibingoti village, Kirinyaga County. After a short conversation with him, people wanted to be like him, to think like him. He made his parents and teachers proud with his exemplary performance in school and was very active in the community, participating in youth building initiatives and education initiatives. Kennedy was a natural born leader.

He was a Christian who loved finding time to meditate and read his Bible, which he considered his most treasured possession.

In 2008, he graduated from the University of Nairobi with a degree in agri-business management and started his work as an online academic researcher.

He was part of the prayer ministry at Gospel Centre International Church, Embakasi, and frequently posted Bible verses on his Facebook profile as part of his Precious Grace online ministry.

As an elder brother to David Murage Karanja, Kennedy was a principled mentor who loved to positively influence the people around him. He was a loving and dependable brother you could call on when you needed help.

His sudden death was a big blow to his family. They have lost a big and irreplaceable part of their lives. Kennedy, you will be remembered fondly. Rest in perfect peace.
